Registering with South Lake Soccer Club

Travel team tryouts are Saturday, June 14th from 9:00 – 10:00 am at the National Training Center soccer fields.

Practices are the week of June 9 – 12th from 6:00 – 7:30 pm at the National Training Center fields for travel teams only.

Monday and Wednesday nights are for all children ages 8 – 11 years old by August 1, 2008. This would make you eligible for a U10 – U12 team.

Tuesday and Thursday nights are for all children ages 12 and older by August 1, 2008. This would make you eligible for a U13 – U18 team.

We have boys and girls teams in most age groups and will make sure that there are plenty of people on the fields that can point you in the right direction for the practice nights.

All players that tryout and make a team need to come fill out paperwork and pay for registration fees.

Registration will be Saturday, June 14th from 10:00 – 2:00 pm in the Education Room. The registration fee is $145.00 for the fall 2008 season. We will be having Empire Soccer of Winter Garden handle all of our uniforms for the club again this year. They will have size runs at the registration and you will pay directly to Empire Soccer for anything you might need with regard to the travel uniform kits. The cost for the kit is $105.00 and includes a home and away jersey, shorts and home and away socks. This price also includes the club logo on the front of each jersey and the player number (with coach approval) on the back of each jersey.

Anyone that missed tryouts or registration, please contact the coach for your age group directly to arrange a tryout at practice. The coach will be able to tell you if space is available on the team. Please go to the “Our Teams” tab and it will give you a list of the teams available and the coaches name, email address and phone number. U15 and above start practices on July 14th and the U10 – U14 teams start practice on August 11th. Please go to the “Our Teams” tab to see a practice schedule for all of our teams.

Uniform fee covers the cost of our travel uniform kit. Empire Soccer of Winter Garden handles all of our uniform needs and can be contacted directly at 407-656-2311 to order your uniform. The Fall 2007 season was our first season with the new Umbro kits but our colors of red, white and blue have stayed the same. They will be at registration to take all of your orders directly.

The replacement cost of each uniform item is listed below. Please use these figures in calculating potential sponsors' costs of offsetting team fees.
