Our Spring Tryouts / Placements for travel teams – for open spaces ONLY - will be the week of January 25 – 28, 2010 at the National Training Center fields off of Legends Way. We will have different ages on different days of the week, so please check the age chart below to see how it works. Monday and Wednesday nights from 6:00 – 7:30 pm will be all children for U14 and above. Tuesday and Thursday nights from 6:00 – 7:30 pm will be all children U13 and below. Please come prepared for a practice workout with water, cleats and shin guards. We cannot allow anyone to practice without the proper equipment – safety first!
We will have 4 registration dates to get children registered to a team. These registrations will be for all ages – travel and In-House teams – and we hopefully accommodate everyone’s busy schedules. These will be the only opportunities to register your children for the Spring 2010 soccer season, so please plan to attend one of the following:
At the National Training Center in the Education Room:
- Friday, January 29, 2010 from 5:30 – 8:30 pm
- Saturday, January 30, 2010 from 10:00 – 1:00 pm
- Friday, February 5, 2010 from 5:30 – 8:30 pm
- Saturday, February 6, 2010 from 1:00 – 4:00 pm
If you are a first time player or new to South Lake Soccer Club, please bring a copy of your birth certificate, that we can keep, to complete your registration. If you do not have the birth certificate, we cannot register your child with the club. The FYSA (Florida Youth Soccer Association) requires that we have this information at the time of registration to insure everyone is registered in the proper age bracket and has proper documentation for foreign born players. Thank you for your understanding in knowing what is required to play.

Uniform fee covers the cost of our travel uniform kit. Bodies in Motion in Clermont handles all of our uniform needs and can be contacted directly at 352-242-4391 to order your uniform. The Fall 2007 season was our first season with the new Umbro kits but our colors of red, white and blue have stayed the same. They will be at all of the registrations to take all of your orders directly.
